About me
This practice changed my life. I’ve spent the last two decades learning how to share it.
I started my yoga journey in 2006 when my sister taught me how to do a headstand. Funny enough, I learned to stand on my head before I ever mastered standing poses. But from that very first moment, I was hooked.
I’d spend hours in my room playing with poses, exploring how each one made me feel, physically, mentally, and energetically. Just 30 minutes of steady breath and movement could completely reset my system. I knew early on that this practice would be a lifelong companion.
In 2008, I signed up for teacher training at The Yoga Sanctuary in Toronto, and by the next year I was teaching at studios all over the city. For about eight years, Moksha Yoga (now Modo Yoga) became my home base, a place where I deepened my own practice and learned the art of guiding others through theirs.
I also began offering private sessions in 2008 and quickly fell in love with the one-on-one connection. I loved being able to tailor each class to someone’s unique body, mood, or season of life, something that still brings me so much fulfillment.
In 2013, I travelled to Whistler to study Yin Yoga with Bernie Clark, which shifted everything. That’s when I really began to lean into yin and restorative styles, and slower, quieter spaces that invite softness, stillness, and deep inner work. Around that time, I also completed training in Thai Yoga Massage and started weaving hands-on, therapeutic adjustments into my classes.
Then in 2015, my path took an unexpected turn. I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis, a chronic illness that flipped everything I thought I knew about health, vitality, and yoga on its head.
What used to feel like a path toward invincibility suddenly became something much more humbling. My relationship with yoga changed completely. I stepped away from studio teaching for a while and entered a long period of healing, questioning, and rediscovery.
From 2017 onward, I spent several years living and teaching in Thailand, Indonesia, Colombia, and Mexico. It was during that time that yoga slowly made its way back into my life, but in a different form. My practice softened. It became quieter, gentler, more intuitive. It helped me rebuild, not just my health, but my sense of self.
Today, I offer private yoga sessions that honor exactly where you are, physically, emotionally, and energetically. My approach is rooted in compassion, presence, and deep respect for the body's wisdom. Whether you’re looking for movement, stillness, breath, or simply space to feel, you’re welcome here.

Beyond the mat, Kyneret finds joy in many creative and soulful pursuits. She loves playing both acoustic and electric guitar, getting lost in books, writing, and exploring new corners of the world with her partner. Her constant companion, a spirited Yorkie named Tyson, is never far from her side. She's also endlessly curious, always eager to dive into new hobbies and experiences.
Lately, her journey has taken a more contemplative turn—Kyneret has begun studying to become a Death Doula, drawn to the profound work of supporting others through end-of-life transitions with presence, care, and dignity.
